So all I need for now is the 100uF electrolytic cap, and the PTH08000 pcb?
Can someone link me to the TI page where the samples for this are?

I'm usually the grammar Nazi (proper capitalized, not otherwise) but typing at midnight did not really help me out.

How do I relocate the expansion pack? It looks insane, but I know you need to do it to make a good portable... Desolder it, but then it looks like there are two rows of pins to solder, it just looks confusing.

I wouldn't try to relocate it.
You can chop off the side/top to make it smaller though.
