Hello there internet world! Ben here to tell you about an exciting new thing we're working on.
Well, I can't divulge too much, but suffice to say we need project ideas to document. As I've mentioned numerous times I rarely think of stuff myself anymore, and it's fun to get input from the community anyway.
So go ahead and discuss stuff you'd like to see us build, and especially interesting / original / useful ideas will be built and documented for later viewing.
You can check out this page for a bit more detail as well. http://benheck.com/benheck-project-submission
Happy brainstorming!

Re: Welcome to Project Submissions Discussion!
Horrible idea, but here goes:
Clear / projected screen onto car windshield (like those head mounted visor games in the 90's), with controls on the steering wheel.
Just what we need, to destroy the space invaders while cruising down the highway.
Now, maybe for something more practical / less dangerous...
hmm...I'll have to think about it while I'm at work tonight

Since Sony hasn't figured out how to do it, how about making the PSP (or hell even the PSP Go) into a clam shell case like the GBA SP or DS has been?
What's a rabite doing in a place like this?
Re: Welcome to Project Submissions Discussion!
Use a small NES clone(superjoy, retro duo, etc.) and create a projector from an lcd screen, keeping it as small as possible, and build wireless controllers. You could use something newer, but it'll end up being more expensive. I got the idea from Palmertech's GBC projector, and figured that you would enjoy doing this since you haven't done this sort of thing before(to my knowledge). Or you could make something like the Dreamtablet. I've never seen you do either of those, and would enjoy seeing the results.

You already have Bill Paxton Pinball... How about a William Shatner physical arcade game? (Maybe Pachinko?) I remember in a few podcasts he's on your list of "good actors who are what they are"...

Design a kit for making your own mini pinball machine.
I would have said make mini tabletop bill paxton pinball machines but then I remembered you wouldn't be able to sell them.
But, making a small kit with the necessary parts, like ramps, led matrix, and the programmable chip to drive it all, but everything table top size.
We could customize them ourselves and make our own themes, you would just provide the more rare parts or have a small book on programming the chip or putting in your own sound effects.

Make the Virtual Boy portable! I would be impressed
Re: Welcome to Project Submissions Discussion!
I've always wanted to see period portables, such as an AtariP made with 70s tech such a cathode ray screen and lead acid batteries.
