Sweet, is the sound quality better in person though?

Re: Finished nesP in cartridge case !!!
This is absolutely amazing. Awesome job.
I created a similar type of project, building an emulator computer in an original NES system. It was really difficult, so I'm amazed you could fit all that functionality into a friggin cartridge!!
Amazing.
In case anyone wants to check out an NES computer/emulatlor:

A truly wise man can entertain a thought without accepting it. A fool cannot withhold past judgments but instead closes his mine to new possibilities. Someone who wants to innovate simply needs to forget what everyone says isn't possible.
Re: Finished nesP in cartridge case !!!
the sound is really good actually, it just pointed out the back of the unit and i recorded the video with a digital camera so its just not quality...Sun-Wukong wrote:Sweet, is the sound quality better in person though?

Re: Finished nesP in cartridge case !!!
Amazing mod! I first saw this on Geekologie about five minutes ago and I must say I'm interested in trying something like this. Would you mind posting what kind of generic media player you used for the base emulator?

This is an awesome, clean looking mod. Your mod also made it as a mention on hak a days site.

Re: Finished nesP in cartridge case !!!
Hey, I actually just joined the site because of this. Frankly it's the most impressive (to me personally) NES hack I've seen.
I'm just really curious about the media player. How would we go about looking into buying it for other mods? I'm also EXTREMELY curious to see a materials / price list. Any light that could be shed on the matter would be very much appreciated!
Keep up the good work airz!
EDIT: I just stumbled upon these two Chinese Media players.
A.) http://tinyurl.com/ykuj5p4 MP4 Game Player FM Radio
B.) http://tinyurl.com/tradestead MP4 Player with 2.8-inch Portable Slide Panel LCD
Would anybody know if either of these are the exact media player used?

They are from a PMP that can emulate the NES. I'm 99% sure he used this.Nintendott wrote:Where did you get the NOAC?
