hi all guys.
it has been a while since my last post at those forums
I was wondering if you can help me to choose a new lappy.
well, when talking about buying a laptop , one of the first questions someone will ask is the max money you can put on it.
due some reasons, including I'm not working atm, and I will not get extra money until some months, 600€ is the MAX ammount of money I can put at this (included shipping and extra costs)
I know for 600€ I cant aim for any ultra specs laptop, but there are some decent laptops avalible to buy.
another important question is the ussage I will give to the laptop.
to be honest I enjoy gamming , thats one of the most important features I would like for the laptop.
I know for 600€ I cant pick a "laptop" gamming machine capable to run crysis at full specs/speed.
but I checked some stuff and I saw some interesting offers:

Look at business class 13"-or-so laptops, because hauling a 15.6" creaky plastic grocery store laptop around all day gets old fast.
I really like Lenovo (the x100e fits my portable computing needs perfectly) and Dell's business grade laptops. Most of the consumer grade laptops on the market are rubbish.

I almost sold a Leveno, Ibms are the quiet winners in the graphic arts. I mean if your into really dicking with your computer. or if dicking with a really nice machine is in your needs.
I think they still have a quarto convertible tablet. Check the Ibm machines out.
Asus is a good reliable one too.
Mostly look for GPUs (Graphics cards) most note books like to use shared Graphics, some coming out are dedicated with the option to share, which is a bonus on a note book. Really pay attention to the GPU you can get ram any ware but the day you bought your laptop, is the day your stuck with that GPU.

yes, that was what I did, every laptop I see with "Intel integrated graphics" I basically discard it before I poke on it.
atm for that price I can see only decent laptops wearing nvidia chips, like Geforce GT 535m (1GB dedicated memory) or a GT 540m(up to 2 GB dedicated memory), there are some ATI alternatives to those GPUs, but I gave a read to some comparatives and seems those nvidia chips are better than the most of current mobile ATI chips on non ultra-expensive laptops. (and I allways got preference for ati cards for my desktop computers since I got my first computer )
edit: lol 600 posts xD
