Saw this at the show. Graphics blow, it literally looks like a PS1 game.

Sorry...

I'm behind on the E3 news. Someone care to explain it to me? Is it a port?

It is a complete wii remake of Goldeneye 007. The graphics look almost like perfect dark on 360. At least this time they added more content. I mean come on everyone would have been happy with it coming to VC. But they didn't they tried to make it better.

Can't believe they swapped Pierce Brosnan's face for Danial Craig's noggin :(

Agreed. I saw the logo for it over the area where people were playing it at E3 and thought "Cool!", but then I saw the game itself... The graphics are pretty bad. If that is a complete remake for the Wii then it is a pretty pathetic attempt.

Or you could drop $10 on Xbox Live arcade to get Perfect Dark, which is a better game and runs at high resolution.

DAmn, that reminds me of all the video game design college commercials over here in MN.

"What do you think if we put that sound effect here?"

"These guys arent playing video games, they're doing home work! (guys drinking and playing Ridge Racer)"

"I'm making this game! You get these guns and you have to fight these aliens!" (Thats 95% of gaming)

It's a good alternative to homework.

So what you're saying is... It looks worse than the original!?
Ok, maybe I can't say that, having never played a PS1 game, but the few screenshots I've seen of them look like the SNES Star Fox with textures added. (as you can probably tell, the only video games I play are Nintendo)

But seriously, I saw the trailer, and it looked pretty good. I don't know why you guys are saying it has bad graphics. Maybe not the Wii's full potential, but it sure beats playing the original on VC console with GC controllers. (No, I don't do that. I don't pay for my emulators.)

Edit: forgot to say I am definitely buying this.

It looks pretty good for a Wii game. The controls will probably kill it. I hope they allow it to use GC controllers, for the possibility of good controls and because we have 4 GC controllers but only 2 wiimotes and nunchucks. :P

N64 had good filtering on awful textures.
PS1 had awful filtering on good textures.

It looks terrible. On a side note, however, I am digging the retro era we are headed for. Nintendo knows how to get the old gamers along with new gamers. I'm perfectly fine with a lack of new games with retro games taking the spot light. As long as they clean up the graphics on some of those games....

If I missed the main E3 topic, then my bad:

3DS - not digging the look, but we'll see
Zelda: Skyward Sword - Anybody remember that tech demo Nintendo showed to present the power of the Gamecube??? Not a good thing....
