soldering burns :'(
Moderator:Moderators
I too have fell victim to my most valuable tool, the iron. I akin it to a knight stabbing himself with his sword. What's worse is being burned while trying to move hot glue. That kills my fingers.
When I die and they lay me to rest
Gonna go to the place that's the best
When I lay me down to die
Goin' up to the spirit in the sky...

i only burnt myself three times, nothing serious only one to three days to heal and one was only because a fan scraped up my knuckle bad first and made me jump

Today I was blacksmithing and I accidentally grabbed a piece of bar stock that was probably about 700ºF. My fingertips are all toasty.

Re: soldering burns :'(
I kept my hand in water for like 2 hours, it helped a lot. Every once in a while is starts hurting again. It doesn't look like much, it's just a couple smooth patches. Once I shower I bet the dirt won't come off of those parts, it's probably cooked in. Gross. When I did it, I smelled my hand to see if it smelled like food. It didn't. :/
