But I need another game to play single player so what would people suggest in the Action RPG niche?

Re: RPG games
As others have said...
Mass Effect 1 & 2 (I consider ME2 to be the best game I've ever played).
Fallout 3 (This would make my top ten)
Oblivion
Those games should keep you busy for quite awhile.

Re: RPG games
I'd have to say Bioshock 1 and 2. Just started playing Bioshock 2 the other night and it's sweet.

If you can run PSX emulators on your PC, play Legend of Legaia. If you've got the patience to play it, it's decent for its time.

Re: RPG games
Me too, dude. When I was 16 I spent like $90 altogether to get a PS2, that game, and a memory card just so I could play it again. I loved it.themadhacker wrote:That's my favorite ps1 game!Biased wrote:If you can run PSX emulators on your PC, play Legend of Legaia. If you've got the patience to play it, it's decent for its time.
Re: RPG games
Of course all the typical mainstream ones are good, but you might want to whip out your Saturn for Shining Force 3 or Panzer Dragoon Saga, or go portable with the Golden Sun series - I really enjoyed the Golden Suns for Gameboy Advance. The stories were quirky and nonsensical, but hey, did stopping everything to raise giant chickens when the world was about to end make any sense?

Re: RPG games
You could also whip out a Sega CD and play Lunar, Lunar II & Popful Mail
I guess you could also play the lunars on the PS1, as (I think) both were re-released on the PS1....but that's just not anywhere near as cool as playing them on a Sega CD
