To all current and future engineers, I commend you.

Congratulations on somehow passing Engineering! Especially if you left Uni with a girlfriend, social life, or both. Seriously, you're gods among men.
Think: An assignment due wednesday, thursday, and the following monday, and tuesday, A quiz due next tuesday, a test friday and saturday.
Repeat every week. Add homework.
They said it'd be a lot of work, but wow. Anyone who survives is amazing and deserves this virtual pat-on-the-back!
Hey, sup?

It doesn't get bad until you start getting into the technical stuff. I fear my next semester

I've taken 3 Engineering courses and 1 Programming course so far at my high school. I got another Engineering course and Java this year (next semester).
Next semester is gonna be beast.

My university offered a "LEAP" program, that is, you do some engineering courses the summer before.
I would have taken it to cut out two weekly assignments and 8 hours of class every week. If something like this is offered, go for it!

Why thank you, I appreciate your kind words.
I still have a few semesters left, but I hope to make it out in one piece.

A load of my mates in Uni are doing it, even *Shock Horror*.... A Girl
One of only 4 girls taking the course in the whole Uni.
Worryingly, I seem to know more about engineering than them

Actually I found the math, physics, and chemistry classes to be more work then the technical classes. Probably cause the technical classes are more interesting.

I either want to be an electrical engineer or a computer scientist.

I would just like to say how much of an impact this board, benheck.com and his previous gamespy site has left on me. I am now a freshman at Milwaukee School of Engineering majoring in computer engineering.
It's great to see so many of the familiar users still on the board.
