I know the kids don't really read... books... these days. You know, with the internets and alls... but I do.
Right now I'm into a series called Pendragon. They're good books. However, D.J. Machale (the author) hasn't released the 8th (or is it 9th? Can't remember...) yet, so at the moment I am reading House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer. So far it's been very good.
So do any of you folks read... uhh... books? Beside's Ben's of course...
Oh, and BTW, I just finished watching Port Washington for the first time ever... I have three letters to say: O M G. I don't even know what to say about it. It's cheese. It's Ben. It's Port Washington.

I've been a fan of Warriors by Erin Hunter for years, with The Darkest Hour being my favorite. Other good ones that arn't worthy of their own sentences are:
The Warrior Heir by Name I Forgot
The Rangers Apprentice series by John Flanagan
Harry Potter(it had to be mentioned eventually)
Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis
The White Fox Chronicles by Another Name I Forgot
Tailchasers Song by ?
I'll list more as they come to mind.
Edit: I just finished The Beast Of Noor last night.

Laugh and the world laughs with you; It's inhabitants are an entirely different story.

if you like Michel Chriton then read sphere, its a lot better than the movie, whats so bad about the Harry Potter series, I have read all of them and am waiting for book 7, which will be out in a couple of weeks. Right now I am reading a book called Cyberpunk, by Bruce Bethke, it is available online for free as a pdf, and it is pretty good, I would say that in the last 2 years I have read something like 150 novels, I do a lot of reading
I don't read books. I hate them. Even books for school that I have to read I usually just end up going on Sparknotes. I know I can read, I choose not to read books.
The only books that I didn't mind Reading were those Series of Unfortunate Events books. They were actually somewhat good.
Books are a waste of time to me and I'd rather just see the Video version so I don't have to think and use my mind towards better things like VB or RGSS.

The books I'm reading right now are The Edge Chronicles by Paul Stewart, a great series of books amazing drawing also. The other book I'm reading is called Tooth And Claw by Jo Walton its about if dragons were real and talked and socialized like humans, the book is more compelling than i thought it would have been if your into serious fantasy books and you see this one pick it up its awesome.

I'm hooked on the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. My friend suggested that I listen to the audio book he had of The Eye of the World while driving, and now I'm most of the way through the third book of the series. It's great. I know it's not technically "reading", but I think it counts.

Beware, the pace of those books slows down tremendously as you progress through them. They're still good, they just slow down. I'm currently on the sixth book.joedog86 wrote:I'm hooked on the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.
