That's not even what that movie was about, it wasn't PROMOTING homosexuality, it was making a statement about its occurrence in real life and how its not really a choice (though you could argue acting on it is). Man, I feel really bad for gay people, that have to put up with all kinds of this crap constantly. At least the forward thinking parts of the country are coming to accept them, too bad these numb-nuts missed the memo on that one. Plus, that's like one movie in his career, when Tom Cruise dies is someone going to picket at his funeral because dancing around in socks and underwear is forbidden in the bible (the movie is "risky business" for those that don't know what I'm talking about)?

Picketing at the funeral of anyone is stupid and shows no respect. I personally find homosexuality to be sick, wrong, and something you can control (you might as well let killers off because they have a certain gene or something), but theres no way I'd disrespect them by picketing at their funeral. I probably never will picket them even when they're alive, I'll just let them die out because they can't reproduce.

true. I personally think 2 guys doing it a pretty gross thought, but people do a lot weirder crap than that. If they want to do that behind closed doors, let em. It's unfair how gays are treated. They are people, even though they are doing something sickening and anatomically incorrect. But the fact remains that their... "activities" are unhealthy and dangerous. The only thing that is genetic about homosexuality is that some men are born with less testosterone than most, and our idiotic society tells them that just because they don't have a particular drive for women, that they are gay. homosexuality is a psychological disorder brought on by all of the jerks that pick on men that are more feminine and by a media that continues to beat the idea that "Being gay is ok, because there's nothing you can do about it" down all of our throats, and misinformed hate mongering ultra radical "Christians" That obviously have never even read a single verse of the bible, or listened to a word that Jesus, the one that they claim to follow, said.

Please note, that (you may already know this) I am a Christian, and I find people like the WBC to be disgusting and wrong misrepresentations of what it is to follow Christ.

I learned long ago that arguing on the internet simply isn't worth the effort, so I am not going to reply to any responses to this comment, but I just want to say my piece.

Know that I support my friends and loved ones who are homosexual to the ends of the earth. My closest friend is a gay man, and he is absolutely no different than you or I.

Anyone who defends homosexuality by saying that it is a biological difference, is doing a disservice to the homosexual community. The reasons for this are as simple: To say that the fault lies not in the gay person, but in their biology reinforces the idea that there is fault in being gay! Being gay is not a shameful thing.

Any arguments which say that homosexuality is unnatural, fall down I am afraid. This is especially true when considered from the Judeo-Christian world view. The problem is this: God gave humans free will, the same gift (or maybe curse) was not extended to animals. However homosexuality is rampant in the animal kingdom (I will here reference wikipedia, but if you need more 'reliable' sources there are many avaliable Link). It follows that God must have intended homosexuality.

What this all comes down to for me is that we are all here on earth, and in the long term, weather or not you believe in christ, allah, whoever, or nobody, fighting amongst ourselves, hating each other, and persecuting fellow men and women achieves literally nothing! Shaming or hating achieves nothing. Love and peace achieve everything.
