Suspenders aren't just for nerds...
1. Firemen save lives every day while wearing suspenders!
2. No, Neo. There IS no two!
3. Old people keep their pants up with suspenders (until their robbed of their medication by kids)
Belts still kick suspenders' arses though...

@ me: Zing!
Hmm... lessee... I got a huge black trash bag full of Atari VCS stuff (including a grenade-shaped joystick, fabric dust cover, and Sunnyvale heavy sixer and the 4+ rare Raquetball game) for about 5 bucks once...

here's my big find of last night. It was actually a thrift store find, but oh well.
I actually bought this saturn a few months ago for $3.95, but didn't notice what she was until I was testing and cleaning out my other saturn last night (to trade for a nomad screen).
That's a saturn VCD 'movie card' sitting on top of the saturn, I found it in its slot right above the battery inside the battery compartment on the back. (which I didn't know existed) The tamper stickers on the bottom had also been punctured, and it mysteriously ( ) plays the imported hong kong pirate games in the booklet on the right (which I bought some time before for $10)
It actually needs both the internal modchip *and* the action replay (which I also had previously) to play the games. Saturn mods are a pain... I never thought I'd be able to play those games after my standard saturn/replay combo wouldn't do it. (I guess it only does foreign games set up like that)
A portion of those games are (ahem) adult in nature too

actually I have Nights into dreams both a legally purchased US version and inside my pirate book there is a JP(?) version. I even have the recommended analog pad for it (I'm sure I bought more than the one, but it's all I could find in my saturn bin).Triton wrote:lucky dog, those VCD cards are hard to find and damn pricey to boot! dou have knIghts into dreams? i want that game (and some actual good saturn games) and how much does a sturn AR card go for?
If I remember the replay was $50 when I got it back in the 1998-1999 area. I bought it so I could play the Saturn imported Dracula X which was also pricy. (BEST Castlevania ever, PC-Engine owners know nothing)
Looks Action Replay 4M Plus units still go about $25-40 +shipping on ebay. Watch out because I see a lot of knockoffs--but I guess they may work too.
I was just so shocked at the find because I didn't even know there was an addon slot slot back there in the battery compartment--let alone that sega had made something for it. It's like taking paint thinner to a painting to uncover a better painting underneath. And it plays VCDs just fine.
