Re: gamecube portable and charger
I really doubt the game cube can run with 800mah, the gamecube need at least 1300mah (without screen), and I supose you will need to wire a screen to the gamecube.argelfraster wrote:im making a gcp

I also recomend you use NI-mh batteries or li-on ( but you need to know if li-ons batteries are used incorrectly they can explode, yes, you readed correctly, them can explode!) anyway my project use li-on, them are simply the best ^^
here you have a example (battery+charger) Ni-mh packs wich can work with gamecube and a portable screen)

Re: gamecube portable and charger
You're going to need to check eBay or something similar if you're looking for a deal like that. Gamecube = energy hog, and batteries with large capacities cost quite a bit. If you're on a budget you'll need to scavenge, but if you know what your system's requirements are it should make your search easier.argelfraster wrote:both are a bit pricy...dou no any that are like 30-40 dollars?

all you need is get the screen power consumition
gamecube power consumition + screen consumition = total power consumition.
the gamecube needs about 1,25A , check the screen consumition label (if you have a multimeter you wil get better resuts) and do this operation:
1,25A gamecube + ????A screen = ????A system power consumition
about use 7,2v Batteries, I recomend get 12v or 14,8v due the gamecube audio needs 12v and I doubt the gc regulator board output 12v at audio trace with a 7,2v input
