I finished my N64p and as I was putting it together, it started smoking!
Now after all my hard work I need to get another 64 mother board.
Anyway I put some pictures of the case on my site

I feel your pain. I put all the components in, wired all the switches and then my N64 got fried. So I took EVERYTHING apart and put a new N64 board in and wired EVERYTHING back together. Well, good luck on your 2nd board, and make sure you don't fry it!
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Im sorry for your loss but you will learn from your mistakes and it looks like you know what your doing with that case and all
how come you did not just flip over the board and relocate the switches?
also there is a slot chager that comes with the Dr. V that makes the extention port in to the cartrage port. it save on soldering any ways

Yeah, I learned take out the batterys before you try to put the case together.
If you just flip over the N64 board then the heat doesn't dissipate correctly and might shorten the life of the the chip. I'm not dissin on other people for doin it that way, I just don't want to do that.
What's that Dr. V thing? Do you have a link?
