AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND PROBLEM:
Relocated cart slot twice, doesn't work, but I'm pretty sure it's not fried. There are no shorts, everything is perfectly jointed, etc. I honestly don't know what to do here, unless I need to ground the shielding?

What kind of wire are you using/What length?
Bondo work looks very good, although the screen is off-center, and by putting a different thickness of black sticker paper (or whatever it is) you only make it more apparent.

Its off center because thats how the dvd players case was made. Im using speaker wire, IDE and some general purpise wire, 4in long.

GO AMERICA PLINK YEAH!!!!
I took a breather from frustrating myself, and remembered that on the first attempt, i had soldered to one of the pins on the bottom because one of the wires came loose on top and I couldnt get a god angle to solder it on. Well, I never removed all the solder before the second try, and that was the very problem. The solder blob was touching one of the ground pins. I must say Tchay, that your advice makes complete sense.

I'm getting some sort of interference on the screen and a high pitched noise from the screen's board. It also turns off when I input audio. It isn't interlacing, It moves in a wave diagonally across the screen. I grounded everything. I think the DVD board doesn't like the N64 drawing power from it, as I have power going battery-DVD player-N64. I'll try battery-dvd and battery-n64, although I dont see why it would make a difference. It also has an S-video input, which is ideal, but that doesn't work either. Its wired properly and all, maybe the DVD board only outputs S-video and inputs composite.

More problems; I hooked up the psone screen, and everything worked fine, but somehow I ended up touching the 100v backlight thing and shocked myself silly. Afterward, I couldn't get the screen to display the n64. Its not fried, I did the RCP test. I have no clue what to even try, can someone please help me?

Didn't work, and on another screen, I'm only getting the green fuzzy screen.
