How do i to build a Portable Dreamcast?

Well I'm new to this,I know literally nothing. But i'm really determined to build a portable Dreamcast.
I guess I just need to know everything I'll need to build one. I already have the dreamcast itself so thats probably the only thing I won't need.If there's a tutorial already here could I get a link? Yeah sorry if I sound stupid here,I'm just new to this but i've wanted to build one for along time.

i dont think there are any actual guides out there parsay, but if you check out other DCps built here, you might be able to uncover a few pointers.

first of all ur gonna wanna look around this site to get some of the fundamentals of portablizing:

But do you know what parts I may need? Only thing else besides the actual dreamcast that I would need is one of those ps1 screens and a soldering iron..

well, in order to power the dreamcast ur gonna need a Pico Psu:

and yes this is a psone screen, it just has a different case, a better one if you ask me, lol

you need a battery, and probably two or three controllers or a bunch of tacts. also, you need a case. but, really, the best thing to arm yourself with,, is knowledge. if you understand fully what needs to be done, the rest becomes a lot easier.

Read. Then read some more. And when you're done with that, keep reading. Read the stickies, read progress threads, read as much as you can. Try your hand at some small/cheap/easy projects to get some experience.
