one thing you can do is use a multimeter to figure out which traces are which on the GBO's controller. The little black pads on it are conductive, so if you scratch off the green protective coating over the traces you can use the multimeter to figure out which trace goes to which of the black pads.

i never would of thought of that! that will save me a lot of time! will i need to connect one side of each of the black pads to ground? or is there one ground wire already on there?

one side of the black pad will need to connect to the ground off the glop top. I believe that most of the grounded sides will still be connected together even after you cut the board apart, I think I needed to connect only two spots together on my GBO's controler for the ground

i finally figured out the controls on the glop top and GBO board! all i need to do now is figure out the ground(s) on the GBO board.
