Super Joy 128 problem

Post by xxc » Sun Oct 09, 2011 7:07 pm

Hi!

I recently bought a power player 128 n 1 at a local bazaar for 20 buck!

when i get back i try it and it work perfectly, then i start disassemble it for the NOAC.
I cut the NOAC from the controller PCB and the component output PCB. Then i wanted to see if it still work
so i made some soldering and a circuit on a breadboard with the component PCB:

I plug it to my tv but no image....I test all the connection with a multimeter and everything seam to be good i got a 2.3-2.5V on the video and audio output i dont know if its normal...
I wonder if anybody else got the same NOAC and can tell me if its the right pin out or if i miss something in my test circuit

here a picture with the pin:

Do you have the grounds tied together?

I'm looking at the last picture, and it looks like the ground lead from the power supply isn't hooked to the ground of the 7805...unless that's off the screen or something.

Also, it's important to have a couple of caps on each side of the 7805 to level out the power going in and out.

Probably toss a 100uf cap on the input end, and toss a 1.5uf on the out end.
