I bought ben's book, and after reading through it, it seemed like something i could manage, so I bought all the parts that are listed, but the phono jack
(Phono jack 1 Radio Shack 274-246A) that ben tells you to get is no longer available from radioshack. Now i already bought everything else, so i was wondering, if someone could link me to a part that would replace it? Im a complete noob so im not even sure what it is used for.

Re: Question about hand built nesp
If you're looking for something that you could plug headphones into, this would work http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... Id=2103224" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If that's not what you're looking for, let us know.

Re: Question about hand built nesp
the thing is, i'm not really sure what it is used for exactly, is it used for headphones? in that case is it possible for me to simply omit it in favor of having only the speakers?
edit: and thanks for the quick response

Re: Question about hand built nesp
I found something with the same part number, minus the A http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... Id=2103451" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Looks like that's what it is.
