well since i don't really have the money to work on my GCp right now i am going to be starting a NES/NOACp
i will be using the DX 3.5" screen with a yobo that i am getting from Banditpaw1. i will most likely be using a ZN-45 or ZN-40 project enclosure from polycase and i'm not so sure about the batteries yet but those can come later lol.
i'm still waiting for my screen and the Yobo to get here so i can start working on everything.

Re: NESp worklog!
For my NOAC portable, Im using a 7.2v 2000 mAh battery from Radio Shack. So you could use that one or something similar.
I also found this for hacking up your screen.
And good luck on your portable.

Re: NESp worklog!
thanks! and i might already have a battery i can use, it's one of those Ni-Cd GameGear battery pack things and on the sticker it says its rated 7.2v 1.2Ah and i have 2 7.2v 1800mAh Li-ions camera batteries. and i've been looking at LoB's notes on the screen and they are very helpful!
Edit:
would this protection circuit work for my Li-ions, or would i have to get a different one because i'm using 4 cells? http://www.batteryspace.com/pcbfor74vli ... limit.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Ok it depends. What voltage out are you going to get? How many A is the battery outputing? What charger are you getting?
Also are you connecting then in series or parallel?
Remember that one of the connection adds the mAh and the other one adds the Voltage. Keep that in mind
PS. I bough one that has a fuel gauge. Its pretty neat.
