Flashback portable V1

Post by Rekarp » Thu Sep 24, 2009 12:24 pm

Ok guys been awhile since I have worked on a project.

Flashback Portable V1 Design Specs.

*2.5" LCD
*4 AA battery powered
*Gameboy style layout
*Cart slot
*Volume control knob doubles as power switch
*First and Second player port
*Full on board controls except driving controller
**Turning the pot all the way one direction disables the pot which allows the first player port to function correctly when paddles are plugged in
*A/V out jacks
**Plugging in the Composite jack turns off the screen
*DC power jack
**Plugging in DC jack disables battery power
*Headphone Jack

All this wrapped into a nice solid wood mahogany and curled maple case.

Will you ever finish it?
And don't you think 2.5" is too small?

It may get finished someday. I really want to make it a all aluminum case tho

2.5" ain't to small. The AEIcomp screen im using has a high enough pixel density so it doesn't look blurry.

lol It's an Atari. 2.5" is plenty large enough. If I could find one cheap, I'd use that on my portable.
