My favorite picture is the "foot" picture.
Not because of the foot, but because of all the really sharp electronic wreckage on the carpet. I wouldn't walk there in socks.![Surprised :o](./images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif)

I knew all along that with the power of friendship I could do it. I mean, it's only an atari one, but still. Every accomplishment is an accomplishment which you can show off to your friends on xbox live... or something.
I also learned that the hot glue coming out of your gun turns yellow if you accidentally leave it on overnight...
I used a different iron for this. My father gave me two irons with the station, one that works with magnets, and one that is tunable with a pot. I suspect the tip of the other one might have been too hot? Or maybe I just suck, I don't know.
Well, what you might also be able to tell in the above picture is that I started flattening the board. It's good to have a broken atari handy while doing this, because that way you can pull components from it if you screw up.
Anyway, I successfully removed the original cart slot (hard task!) and am back in the case planning phase. The batteries I will add after I'm done with the case because they keep falling down and the wires keep snapping.
Now, I'm not going to use the molds I made earlier because 1) it would take me FOREVER to sand them down. I underestimated the work that is connected with it, and 2) because I trimmed off the top of the psone screen, I can make the case smaller.
I'm still undecided what I'll do about the case. I don't really feel like spending more money on clay right now (because all my money is going into screens while the prices are down!), so I'll either frankencase something, or I'll use wood for my mold.
I'm sure I'll find a creative solution. Or maybe an uncreative one.

Same here. Though it's clean now, as I'm in the process of cleaning my room. That usually ends with a really clean floor and really messy desks. You know, when I look around in my room, there is not one piece of wall exposed. There's desks, cupboards, beds and various other things everywhere. I guess I have too much crap.

Kyo - I will be cheeky here, as you mentioned about not being able to use the molds you made before, etc: if you want to buy my case front and back; no extras, (you know the size of my case) - I will offer you a very good price to help you out if you are interested. PM me if you want to know more...special price just for you...
