Why start with an Xbox 360 laptop? Make a NOAC portable or something. Out of the thousands of people who have started an Xbox 360 laptop, very few actually complete them, and it turns out to be a money dump.

I'm going to complete mine, I don't give up on these things even though I'm having trouble finishing my case. Aluminum really sucks to work with :(
It'll be done though
Won't take me a year... but maybe a month?
Especially when the Wifi adapter I bought doesn't work!
And every small speaker set I bought aren't loud enough.
And I'm putting a lot of extras in mine unlike everyone elses.
current project 360p:
2.8" laptop with 17"ws, keyboard and mouse/playstation compatible in games, temp sensors, 6 more usb ports
What I need: a second wifi adapter, case 70% done

The account I was replying to was deleted, making this post meaningless. :D

just throwing this out there, 360's have been hacked to run games directly off the hard drive, no disc is even required for verification, and any hard drive can be used, this means if you can find a 2tb sata hdd that fits, you can use it.

I've done this to one of my 360's it's pretty sweet, I can mod games now :)
I sense some even smaller xbox 360 laptops in the future.

no I don't value playing on live :)

actually I have 3 xbox 360's...
1. Unmodded jasper
2. flashed fw dvd drive Xenon
3. homebrew modded Xenon 8)

one of the xenons I got when I legitimately wanted an xbox to play, one was broken and I got it for $10, and the jasper was only $100 new, I can't pass that up.

"That forum" would be xboxhacker.net but please don't just go there and start asking questions, they'll freak out at you, maybe you should try forums.xbox-scene.com if you really want to try it out, but you'll have to have an xbox 360 that hasn't been updated / been on live in a while.
