Could I use acrylic plastic for Xbox laptop? QUESTION

Post by ruthus99 » Sat Jul 11, 2009 5:46 pm

Hey Guys, I have a quick question and I was wondering if anybody can answer it.

In his tutorial to make a Xbox 360 Laptop revision 2, he says we should get Sintra plastic which is rather expensive, Would I be able to use Acrylic Plastic which melts at 130 Degrees, it is clear and if so, would I be able to cut it with a Dremel or a x-acto knife

Thanks!

Hmm interesting question. WIth the right bracing you might be able to use it. You may need to have a sheet of aluminum to brace the motherboard and the LCD.

It might just be easier to use the material that Ben has shown works.
