I'm trying to find a nice touch screen for a PC that I'm installing into my car. I currently have a soundstream in dash that is a touch screen but it won't work with the computer because it seems to have areas on it that don't recognize touch. Almost like the screen has a predefined layout for where it can be touched, like buttons.
I need something thats at least 7" but no bigger than >9", I got lot's of room behind he area that radio would be. Mat finish would be best to keep glare down. When I look at smaller screens they list them as how many lines they have for the screen. I don't understand what is going to be a higher definition. I'm not sure what 420 lines means on a 7" screen. I'm guessing the screen needs to be very high definition because it's going to have little icons on it. I have not built the PC yet, I know I want a windows box. I want to make sure I can get the rite screen first.
