Hey all, im currently working on a XBox PC and am re-using most of the parts save for the motherboard and one of the controller ports(which are up for grabs once i reattach 2 blown resistors to the mobo, only have one port due to second hand scoreing from Goodwill).
What im looking to do is set up the red LEDs in the ring to light up when the system is powered off, but im not 100% sure how to do that safely, has any one got a tut? i already know that i have to wire it into the +5vsb line, and i dont need any remarks that are along the lines of "just wire it to the +5vsb line". useful advice would help a lot.
also if any one knows of a way to re-use the power supply on a PC mobo any help in that area would help too.
scince im a soldering n00b i would need the big lettered version with lots of colorful pictures on the PSU mod
