A gaming convention that many of the members here attend. I have never been, but it sounds like a lot of crazy stuff happens there.

Anyone wanting to ride with me, I would like to discuss it on Google Wave. If you need an invite, PM me. My wave address is vskid3.

Lets have a minnesota carpool. I recall seeing a good number of members living here in MN.

Are people seriously driving 1,000 miles to come to the MGC this year?!?

I guess I have no excuse for not making the pathetically short one hour drive this year...

I been thinking of a cool and strange idea.

How about the people who is able to come to MGC. Bring a local/regional soda from where they live for other members to try. (No liquor or alcohol.) It would be cool to try something that someone wouldn't normally been able to try unless they traveled to the area where it's from.

What do you guys say about this?

Well I know we will be having some under 21's (like me if all goes to plan). I was suggesting no alcohol out of fairness to them and not to make any parents uneasy.

(Back to Sodas.) Anyways, I can go to my local C-Mart and get a Big Red if I wanted  .

As for what I'm wanting to bring. If all goes to plan (ie going to MGC), I'm hoping to bring a regional soda called Ale-8-One. It's considered a Ginger Ale. But it has it's differences compared to the normal Ginger Ale that set it apart for the others.
