First of all, is it possible? and secondly, how much would you charge? I'd supply the system.

Wow, I've never heard this question before!

Backlighting a Gameboy will wash out the image. Frontlighting it is possible though.
Meh, I don't post much.

UNTRUE! I'm doing it right now, and the image is quite clear. You must be sure not to ruin the polariation layer when removing the backing. Then, you add electrolimunescent foil behind it. It's great.

There's no need for someone else to do it for you. Just buy some electroluminescent (EL) backlighting!

Also Bibin is correct. The only reason that the picture might wash out is due to poor dissipation - which is your fault only! :D

Hmmm, I don't have any experience when it comes to something like this. Is it complicated? I'd pay someone to do it if it wouldn't be too too pricey.

There are a lot of great guides online as for how to backlight old LCD's with EL foil. Just make sure you cover up the metal backing of the EL foil, or else you'll be running 120V AC through your gameboy pocket's processor. Not fun.

If anyone has some EL foil spare to sell, please PM me; if not, where are cheap sources for a small quantity please? (I live in UK).
