ok well i was looking into arcade control costs and to get a good 2 person streetfighter 2 setup its going to cost me about 105 dollars from www.ultimarc.com does anyone know of a good site that has all the same stuff and is cheaper

they aren't the best quality as far as arcade parts go, but for a full 2 player setup, x-arcade has a decent deal if you like black:

i always heard xarcade had like the best quality and im looking for under 100 dollars and preferably with colors

OK, don't do the X-Arcade. Just don't. The controls are not very good at all, and the boxes are pretty bland a boring. You should really check out akihabarashop.com to find some controls and www.byrdo.org for some good inspiration for building your own. I built mine for under $50, and it's amazing. No crappy controls, and some really awesome and unique styling!
Emulation isn't accurate. There is no substitute for real hardware!

I agree with arfink. Ive never used an xarcade setup myself, but a LOT of people over at the shmup forums recommend against them. And these guys know their joysticks. Its super simple to make your own setup if you know how to use a drill.

Yes, I had a friend who got an X-Arcade and only after a few weeks he broke his buttons on his setup because they are low quality cheap-ola buttons. I replaced them with some very nice Sanwa buttons after doing a little modding to the panel, and those ones have stood up to the constant beating they are expected to take.
Emulation isn't accurate. There is no substitute for real hardware!
