Would this regulator work for stepping 7.5V to 12V. It should, but just checking to be sure.

Maybe, but you won't get much current from it. (300ma)

What are you using that requires 12V? Many things can run on less.

It's for a 8" Screen. This regulator is another option?

Probably would work.

Check on the motherboard of the screen for voltage regulators to be sure that you have to run it at 12V. Have you tested even just putting 7.5v in at the input point?

I have tested and 7.5V doesn't work. I guess I'll go with the first regulator

How would I wire it up?

Sorry, the first one will not work, now that I think about it.

As for wiring it up, look in the datasheet for the regulator.

Oh, I see now that the first regulator outputs 12V from 5V. But would the second one work? It looks like it has the same problem. What regulator could I use to increase 7.5V to 12V???

The first one will boost the voltage successfully just won't provide enough current to run a screen.

The second one should work but you are going to need to ask someone more knowledgeable than me about electronics for the resistor/capacitor/inductor values.
