Using 11.1v Li-Poly battery while charging ?

Post by -=FamilyGuy=- » Thu Jul 16, 2009 6:05 pm

Hi folks, I need a little help from you!

I got this battery: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12821" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And this charger : http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8798" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I want to know if I can power on devices with the battery WHILE I charge it.

I wonder if it's possible because there's a wire to charge the battery and a different wire to power on devices.
Of course I don't want it to explode, so I'm asking on here first!

Thank you very much!

FG

If you wire everything up as it should be, then you'll be fine. What are you planning on powering with it?
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Thank you for your reply!

The thing is that it's a battery for RC helicopter, so it not in it's normal use to be plugged in the wall WHILE powering one the helicopter...

It's to power on my half-made dreamcast portable !!
PS: I plan to finish it before my 70's (I'm in university right now)

Any help would be really appreciated, otherwise I,ll wire it up, wearing galsses, and hope it'll do the job without exploding!
