why would your parents be mad because you bought an xbox? I buy things all the time without permission. besides, woulnt your parents be wondering what that shiny box hooked up to the tv playing games is?

Back when I was your age I had a NES and my parents didn't like it -- but they didn't prevent me from having it -- they would just tease me -- like I should be embarrassed for playing games. It didn't work either.
