HMMM

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Who wants a case that would melt at room temperature? :lol: Kidding...

No really, it does seem to be an interesting possibility, especially given the ease in which it can apparently be formed. Somebody try this stuff out and report back!

Dude, if your room temp is 62 - 65° C, you got some issues! :mrgreen:

Well, Bondo and this stuff have totally different purposes. Bondo is used as a filler and this stuff is used to actually make a product with. I think it would be kinda difficult to make a case out of this material, but only because they're beads and you'd need some way to hold them in place while you melt them together. Maybe you have some ideas?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that melting temp in the 120-130 degree range? Better not leave it in the sun in your car...

Well, according to an online calculator, it's between 143 and 149F, but yeah, would probably be a bad idea to leave it in a car on a hot day.

Im just saying it may be good to use for mounting controller parts and other parts to the exterior
BTW you put them in a container when u melt them and they turn into a blob which you can mold, then pick it up with golves(if its still boiling hot or your hands if its slightly coolerImage
A similar thing for making cases if you dont have a vac.form table is this product called Wonderflex, you can get it from hereand this is something it can do: http://www.amethyst-angel.com/propclose ... orial.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

i've used these once, not worth it at all in my opinion, UNLESS your only using it to make a mold.. this stuff is cool to make a mold, but isnt good to use as a case, or everyday use. with an extremely low melting point, a lot can happen...
