I'm not sure this is the exact forum to post this in but has anyone tried this idea?
I was thinking this with a portable projector or something could be really cool.

I was actually thinking smaller, probably no time soon. These projectors are supposed to, depending on popularity, drop to less than $200, which after a few portables, can pay for itself in that respect, assuming they are for personal use.

Think about it, give it video and power (if you want to) from your portable. and make it to work with multiple different ones. Obviously a long way off
(unless you want one of the current gen ones but you would have to focus with them though
