Re: Xbox 360 SLIM Aluminium Unibody Laptop
I would consider using a copper base and heat pipes that screw into the aluminum just to make sure the heat spreads out quick enough. Just being solid aluminum may not do enough to spread the heat from that one area. Also, It couldn't hurt to still have shallow fins on the topside of the case Any li...

An old toothbrush, and a mixture of baking soda and water is gonna be your cheapest way.

Re: Interfacing Multiple Consoles w/ a single video/audio output
I've noticed that when using a multi-unit cable with my N64 and xbox, that if it's plugged into my xbox, the N64 video simply won't work. If you can throw $20 at it, you can get an auto-detecting switch box from walmart that can take care of the problem for you. Just toss it in the case, and problem...

Re: How to make a controller mold
However, they *could* be made in someones garage with hobby equipment. You can get silicone to make forms out of, and then cast resin inside of it. I'm still not entirely sure what you're trying to do though, so I can't really recommend a process to you. Assuming you're just trying to mount a camera...

It may have something to do with how long this board takes to update when you're posting or reading things. I tend to have to wait 5-10 minutes to read a PM, even if I'm on when it comes in.
Or it could be related to MR, SSF, and MBB
Or possibly some combination.

I'll buy your xboxen!
I will pay $25 shipped/xbox, so if you want gather up like 3, and shove them all in one box, I'll give you $75 for them. Notes: This is for Original xbox consoles, NTSC versions. If you still see this thread open, I'm still buying. I'll pay $20 if it's broken in any reasonable way. Shipping would be...

Re: Game Boy Pocket Text Document Reader.
don't talk about stuff you don't know about. Sometimes it is better to provide suggestions for an alternate activity And these two things are exactly how you prevent innovation and new ideas. Go figure. How about rather than singling out someone, you politely provide the proper information? You can...

Re: FS: Nonvolatile 1M (4x) N64 Memory Cards
I want to see a 16x card. It sounds ridiculous and unnecessary. What would you do for the switching? Would you go after 2 4-way switches, 4 on/off switches, or try and find a 16 way slide switch... or would you take the lame way out and use a digital control?

NES is AC, Genesis is DC. DC supplies work for the NES, but AC supplies don't work for the Genny.

Re: Looking for a Nintendo NES power supply replacement
Well, actually... Polarity of the plug kinda doesn't matter much, seeing as the NES has an AC-DC rectifier in it and has been shown to work fine with Sega Genesis PSU's time and time again. Don't try that the other way, though. Should help you out a bit with shrinking your collection if things aren'...

Leave it somewhere warm and dry to cure. If you have an oven that you can set to about 90F, that would be incredible.
Let it cure there for about two days.

Re: Game Boy Pocket Text Document Reader.
If you can write software for it, it would not be much of an issue to build something to scroll through text. You would likely need to recompile with every change and store everything on a flash cart. You would have a very real limit on how big of a text doc you could put on it. If you happen to be ...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Get to the border station where the USPS trucks go through. Wait. Don't really do this. It's a bad idea. If he gave you a tracking number today, chances are that you have about 2 hours to get a hold of him. Pretty unlikely. I would just wait and hope it goes through. It could also help to talk to th...
