Re: Mad Catz Gamecube LCD
You don't want a 12v screen. You want a screen that will run on 7.4v , because that is what the N64 can run on and then you can use 7.4v batteries.
And yes that screen sucks.

This has been around. Apparently games lag bad with it.
So it's just an emulator and a poor one at that from the reviews I've seen.

Should run just fine at 9v and most likely 7.4v and "maybe" 5v

Re: 2 differnet voltages?
First of all check to make sure the screen can't run on a lower voltage. Most can, if so then problem solved. Second it is fairly simple to lower voltage with voltage regulators. There are standard linear regulators , cheap and easy but they get hot. Or switching regulators, require caps/resistors f...

Not many people have made one, let alone made a nice one
Expect to pay at least $700 for one.

Re: ps2 slim battery question, need HELP please
If I remember correctly the PS2 Slim's power does not go to a regulator so I think 9v is the max it will take.
But you can use a standard 7808 regulator to get 8v.
Or you can get a certain Revision PS2 slim that runs just fine on 7.4v

Re: brown/orange ribbon disconnected in the back of ps1 screen
You put the brown ffc through the hole. The brown tab on the screen mainboard lifts up. Insert the ffc as far as it will go into the tab. Flp the locking mechanism down. Voila.

Yep you don't need a Laser Doodle. And I don't have the time to make a guide on every portable I have ever done. Sorry.
