There are actually some students at my University using E-textbooks on the kindle as part of a 'trial program'.
Having used both e-textbooks and traditional textbooks, I prefer the latter, despite the weight.

5th gen hands down. I loved playing my n64 and ps1.
Even though I own most of the games I used to have for those systems and then some, I still regret trading in my system and games. Its just not the same

Go with the blackberry. It gets annoying to text, let alone use touch screens.
