Re: trouble with a customer.
The instant he opened up the laptop he lost his warranty. you should of just ended it right there. If everything you say is true (people post biased opinions unintentionally) you have bee nothing but kind to him when he has constantly been in the wrong. If your work is quality, even though you shou...

Re: FS: TINY N64 Controllers
Basically, what he's saying is to run and label the wires for the buttons... and maybe drop the price by $5-$10 It also couldn't hurt to advertise it at a forum that gets more traffic, like MR, MBB, or SSF. If you aren't wiring up a converter, I'd offer to include the original thumbstick (As-is) at ...

Re: Vinyl Game Machine
There are way too many problems with using records as a digital storage medium. If you wanted to build something like this, I'd honestly look into using lazerdisc instead. Anyway, I doubt one has been built, but if you wanted to make one, here's how it would need to work: First off, you'd need to fi...

That came out looking very clean. I want to see more of these bartop arcade cabinets now... *starts budgeting for parts*
Also, took a look at your site. There are a ton of awesome ideas on there. Quit making me want to do more things.

That link is actually him using a protective case for the WiiU controller. He has a link to the ebay page in the thread.

Re: Button Dyeing
I'm just glad you mentioned it, seeing as I know how to cast resin, I just never would have thought to use it for this... (I guess some bits of my brain don't work right, or something) Awesome.

Re: Button Dyeing
That is a beautiful idea.
So, do you use clear resin, and mix a dye in?
I take it you just press the buttons into some clay/play-dough/whatever, pull them back out, and pour the resin in, right?

I made wallets out of a membrane keyboard. I saw this done by someone online a while ago, but they were mostly packing tape wallets with membrane keyboard inside. Mine are made only by folding. http://imageshack.us/a/img42/4976/wp20130119003.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img547/3699/wp20130119007.jpg A...

It's a pretty crappy deal, IMO. Look for friends that upgraded from an iPhone, offer them $35-50.

Memphis Tigers themed Slim Xbox
So, back in October, I started this project as a Christmas present for my little brother. Just finished it today. I'm not entirely happy with it, but it's way to late after Christmas to keep working on it, and it has to be in Memphis by the 14th. http://imageshack.us/a/img69/8937/wp20130109012.jpg h...

Re: Xbox 360 SLIM Aluminium Unibody Laptop
So, you're wanting to have the mobo suspended from the top of the case? Also, those links I gave you may not be the best for you, I grabbed them from an American based company, and if you're actually from Scotland, shipping them overseas will be... inconvenient... As far as building the case goes, i...
