i actually did the math on this last night. the standard ZN-45 N64p with 4700 mA batteryspace batteries and protection circuit, a PSone screen, the console itself, and about 20$ extra for misc. parts and it would cost around 110$-130$ depending on if you fry anything and other factors

some guy made a program for a PIC that allows you to use one on the original controller, don't remember where it was that i saw this though

my old pokemon crystal just randomly stopped working one day. not sure why i've replaced the battery, cleaned the contacts .. nothin... some games just like to die on people for some odd reason lol
