Re: Flashback portable V1
You'll have to share some advice! I got someone to send me a modded FB2. I had to see what the heck I was doing work. Now that I have corrected some issues with mine, I'm thinking of moving forward with my project. The screen I am using is one of those 3.5 inch pustoms (From ebay... hong kong). I've...

Re: New Portable in Progress...
I'm back. I decided to get a different screen to redo some of my portable. It is a bigger screen, and from what I've been told it is easy to use. I got the 3.5" Pustom that you see on ebay or DX. So I went to search out the pinouts for the Pustom screens. This is the one of the 2.5 inch http://i499....

Re: Pustom 3.5" screen.
Well... that didn't seem to help me all of the way. I'm not sure what the deal is. Take a look at this one.... http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/7202/121220071260rd9.jpg That's the board I have (from what I can tell). I've got power to the screen, audio and ground. While trying to add the video... ...

Re: Pustom 3.5" screen.
Hmm... Mine is a BIT different, but I think it is the same concept. Mine shows the green input... like the one below with 4 pinouts. It also has a Black one right next to it with 3 pinouts. And the power is next to it as well. Kind of strange, but I suppose it is the same thing. (the one shown is a ...

Pustom 3.5" screen.
Sorry... I know it has been pointed out before, but I've sat here for an hour now and Can't find the picture I am looking for that I saw last night (and forgot to save). Someone posted a picture of the Pustom screen's innards, and pointed out the pinouts for the power plug... (audio power, video, et...

Re: Atari 2600 Portable
I'm using Rekarp's AV mod kit . I'm not sure if it's the same channel going to different jacks, or if it's true stereo. When I get another kit assembled, I'll have to test it and find out. His kit is very very nice. I am using the S-video kit for my countertop project. Thankfully I don't have any i...

Re: Atari 2600 Portable
Using disposable AA batteries. Getting 9v to the 7805. Then after about 5 minutes, the volts drop to about 8V and then the screen is not stable (starts to roll) The Atari is still playing, still running fine. I have the batteries going to the correct spot on the 7805, and I also have unregulated pow...

Re: Atari 2600 Portable
I'm at work right now and can't see the pics. please make sure to share info on the switching regulator. I'm having fits over my 2600 portable. I'm getting about 5 minutes of playtime using 6AA batteries (9v) before my screen starts rolling. I'd be VERY happy to get 90 minutes of playtime right now....
