Re: Making An N64 Portable?
You wont need any of the cables from that screen as you'll probably hardwire it in. Heres a diagram for it: http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b64/Harshboy/N64Power_Diagram-2.png As for the regulator and components it needs: PTH08080WAZ works well (you can buy it from http://www.ti.com" onclick="wind...

Re: Making An N64 Portable?
You'll also need a dremel, TI power regulators, some random caps and resistors, etc... The ZN-45 is a good case for a starter N64p, but it's so big that you'll want a screen that bigger than 3.5". In almost all of the other Zn portables a PSone (or two) screen is used. Like this: http://cgi.ebay.com...

Re: devileyebrow's Ps1 Commission.
The 7805 is for the power LED and fan, but I made change it.
And the batteries are sitting on the back of the Psone, because I do know how hot it can get.
And my camera makes everything Sepia toned when you set the picture resolution up.

The potentiometer is that little blue and white component on the perf board.
It seems to be simply a Micro potentiometer you can get at radio shack.

Re: N64 Controllers
I'm going to have to agree with this, but there is one controller which is much better.hailrazer wrote:The Superpad 64 is one of the best to use.
The Tomee N64 controller
This controller is pretty small, works perfectly, and uses a Psone Joystick.

Re: Bush's N64 Commission for Neild
What kind of wire are you using/What length?
Bondo work looks very good, although the screen is off-center, and by putting a different thickness of black sticker paper (or whatever it is) you only make it more apparent.

Maybe you should change the name of the ebay item, its hard to find it with a simple "Portable SNES" search.
