webPC - iMac G3 Modernization
Long time, no see, Benheck Forums  Not really into portabilizing anymore, but I've built some other stuff since YAP64. So, one year after I asked the question of whether an old iMac G3 could be turned into a modern PC, it's finally built. http://i40.tinypic.com/o05tep.jpg http://i44.tinypic.co...

Region Modded Genesis - BLUE LED!
I was bored, and was hoping that I'd be able to sell a Genesis for more if it was modded. But mostly, I just wanted a console project to do. I figured while I was in there I would add a blue LED. http://i38.tinypic.com/zk1iz9.jpg My camera sucks, so you can't see the blue LED in this picture. I did ...

XCVG's FS/T Thread
Well, I have a bunch of crap that I don't really need/want anymore, so I've decided to try this again. I don't expect it to be any more successful than the last, though. I'm going to try to get PayPal, so you don't have to send me cash anymore. Trades are good too. All prices listed are negotiable a...

Re: YAP64 - Yet another portable N64
Next time you name a portable, do a copulate Google search. http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=YAP64" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; That's right. Second one down, or the first video. The name's taken. It may be a piece of crap, but it exists. And it was posted well over a month before yours. I...

Re: The OFFICIAL Youtube Thread. Let's get viral!
Sort of a promotional video for my fanfic, but mostly I was just bored. It took more time to collect the clips than it did to edit them.

Re: Do we have room for another N64P? (t64 WIP)
That's pretty sweet. +1 on the solder mask idea. 'Tis finished! Now I can mess with it without having wires all over the place. Got around to finishing up that rumble circuit, here 'tis: I'm starting to get the feeling that these boards with photo resist I've been using are causing me problems. In s...

Re: Raiden II JAMMA PCB
The PSU should be fine. Computer PSUs can put out quite a lot of amps and arcade boards are generally overrated.

Re: AVR, PIC, or Arduino?
I've ordered a Freeduino SB, a Protoshield, and a bare ATMega168 to play around with. Hopefully I'll get it some time this week.

Re: PS2 Laptop
Hey again, thanks for the tips. But I still have a couple of questions.. 1. (this may sound basic) but can you use data to transfer ground? 2. Is it a good idea to have the power converter (the big thing in the middle of the cord, I think it's called a power converter ) in the laptop case and...

Hoping to get an MVS, with Metal Slug of course (my favorite Neo game). Unfortunately, arcade parts are hard to come by around here.

Re: multiple console's to one, a Bomberman Arcade Box!
It would probably be way easier and probably cheaper to simply emulate on a PC, but using all the authentic systems would be epic awesome. Now for the questionable ideas; ~Physically speaking I’m not sure how large this entire thing will be, since it will depend on the choice of consoles/games incor...
