Re: Nintendo 64 Schematic
I am pretty sure you can just bridge over that, just connect the two pins that aren't ground. Try it, but I think I remember doing that.

Re: Nintendo 64 Schematic
You can remove the U8, little known fact.
Here it is working without it, recognizing a controller:
Connect P1 Data to both pins 15 and 16 on the PIF chip, it works just fine.
Ignore those other wires, they are for RCP wiring.

It's a photoshop file with a crap ton of layers. Enjoy. Motherload Preview: Click'em for bigguns. http://i...

Re: VGA output via fpga
This is basically a pixel doubler. It will output 640x480 for low res games by displaying each pixel as 4 pixels. If done well, it has the potential to be marginally better than RGB. The stock video DAC probably isn't perfect, though I don't know what flaws it has.

Re: VGA output via fpga
Hello everyone, extremely interested in this project, it's exactly what I've been looking for as I don't have the knowledge to attempt it myself. Does anyone know if this has ever been achieved before? Tried N64 emulators on the PC and the Wii's Virtual Console in search of a higher resolution Mari...
