Re: Who wants to be an Atarionaire: Atari 2600 4-switch portable
I used these: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=ul-f550 and also the original Sony batteries: NP-F330 Not too expensive and you can play for a long time. These are 7.2v. I think the Ultralast is only 1850mAh I have no idea about the sony one. But like mentioned earlier... have ...

Re: Finished nesP in cartridge case !!!
Still having issues with the controls. That's the final piece of the puzzle for my version of this.
I wouldn't think that I need to supply 5v to the controls (power should come from the PMP's buttons... right?)
I have the D-Pad working... but not the B, A Select or Start.

Re: Finished nesP in cartridge case !!!
Dear God I'm such a dufus. LOL As soon as I pushed the "SEND" button I realized I needed to check something else. Note to all... the HOLD button was the 'dufus' moment. You can still power on the PMP... but the buttons are locked out. Geez. I spent two hours on that! Moving on... I need to get a few...

Re: Finished nesP in cartridge case !!!
Airz... I'm about 75 percent done with my 'clone' of your project. What's up with the controls on this PMP? I've noticed that you have wires going to every ground on the controller and then to every ground of the PMP buttons. I've noticed that you also wired up all 4 buttons on the right hand side f...

Is it possible for you to upload that firmware again?
I just got everything I needed to work on this project (need a confidence builder prior to going back to my Portable Atari. LOL)

Re: Stella: Atari FB2 Pocket-Sized Portable
So I figured out the audio chip. Can someone help out with the wiring of the GBC regulator? I am having issues seeing what to do with this. It looks as though extra parts have been added and other parts were moved (I assume to make room in the case) I am attempting this in the same IPOD case... but ...

Re: Stella: Atari FB2 Pocket-Sized Portable
Anyone have a clue where I can buy perhaps 2 of these?Mario wrote: But the schematic came from the datasheet for the audio amp chip. It's the TDA2822N.
Nothing on ebay... I can't find a place that requires you to buy a lot of them
Do any of you have a few that you'd like to sell?

Re: Stella: Atari FB2 Pocket-Sized Portable
Hello...
Is there any possible way I can get a detailed circuit drawing... or a 'HOW-TO' guide for the Audio amp and the LED low battery indicator?
Thanks!

Re: Stella: Atari FB2 Pocket-Sized Portable
Great portable by the way. I will take a stab at doing this as well. Couple of questions if you don't mind. I have two screens I bought from ebay... both are 3.5" screens, and have been used for portable projects in the past on here. I have them working, no issues with that, however, the screen seem...

Re: Having a bit of Soldering troubles...
I'm using radioshack solder.
I re-ordered different tact switches. The ones I had really didn't have much for legs. The ones I ordered stick through the PCB. I should be good to go now. Thanks

Having a bit of Soldering troubles...
So I decided to redo a portable, and wanted to use a few radioshack pcb for the control board.
Do any of you have tips on soldering the tact switches onto these boards? I can't really get them to stay properly.
