Re: Hi im new here and need advice
Both the screen and the original SNES will work. In fact, it has been done before, it is just harder to get small.

Oh. That makes sense why nothing came up.
I should go to that, even though it is probably of equal distance to MGC.

Re: Hi im new here and need advice
Dude, that thing doesn't even have Composite In. :? That means you can't use it. In other words: You will need a new screen that does work (try the PSone screen, that thing is amazing) You will need the SNES (duh) either Mini or Retro Duo You will need a controller You will need some wires, solder, ...

I don't believe MasterCAM accepts it. I don't know, there might be a patch or I could probably convert it. Shoot me one of those snowpenguin, your file was all corrupted when you sent it to me.
Stupid Inkscape.

Sure
I haven't tried all of them.
And Inkscape isn't all that bad, but there is a reason it is not used commercially.

Re: Running a pc without bios?
I know this is already solved, but BIOS stands for Basic In and Out System.
It runs a system checkup before starting the OS. It is the thing that checks if anything on your computer is wrong, and it also is the only thing that can give the command to start the kernel.

Re: Hi im new here and need advice
Yes. Find the regulator on the DVD motherboard that outputs 5v and connect it to the SNES after you have disabled the 7805 on the SNES mainboard. After that, connect composite out on the SNES to composite in on the DVD player. Follow the mono sound pin back to an IC where it splits into two signals....

Re: touch sensitive volume controller?
You would have to convert total resistance (square bar frequency) to digital on/off presses. Which means in essence this would be just like a fancy tact switch because you would lose it's variable function when you dropped analogue. In other words, not something you would really like to do. Alternat...

Re: xBook Worklog
Well, DXF is AutoCAD proprietary so that is one of the main reasons it is having issues. Personally, Inkscape is very good for starters, but beyond that you definitely want to try another program. I for one know that it scales things incorrectly and doesn't retain the comments layer --- you know, wh...

Me either. I guess I just got to wing it. He told me what bit to use, but that doesn't help very much on the vector side.
