Re: The "Laser"
And what do you plan on doing with this? Seeing how fast you can blind yourself? Trust me, I work with 1W - 100W lasers in the lab, and even with glasses you can have your eyesight severely damaged if the beam scatters off something the wrong way. That even goes for the small ones.

Re: techknott's Handheld Gamecube - Youtube video included
Seriously, where do people get off sending me emails slating me.. Seriously? Just for not putting batteries in your handhelds? I don't see why people would care. As far as convenience and functionality, you are the only one it really matters to anyway. Unless of course you plan on mass producing th...

Geeze then you are just out of luck aren't you?
I owned my $6 radioshack soldering iron for a year before I just got a nicer one. Even did some SMD soldering with it.

Re: Average Total Pricing?
It ends up costing way more in the long run. Especially the first one. Just keep track of how much you spend, I bet you will break $200 in unforeseen costs

Re: I need help with my SnesP
Much better :) I am not entirely sure that screen will work, it looks like it takes some sort of digital signal from the DVD player. So unless you want to include the whole DVD player board in your project, a different screen would in fact be easier to wire up. The easiest way I have found to desold...

Re: Audio amp help
Nope, but you are getting there. All you need is to connect audio input to RH instead of D and not connect RH to the voltage source.

No. Have you even looked at either of those data sheets? Everything you need to know is there.

Good work, I like. I really admire how you are etching your own boards.

Re: snesp help
So whats your question? Ill be happy to help you if you have a specific question, but I am sure no one is going to hold you hand and tell you exactly what you need to do. Read some stickies and some work logs, and then come back when you feel like you have more of a grasp on the topic.

Re: Audio amp help
Yeah for the digital potentiometer, it looks reasonable. Just for future reference, if you are asking for help with a specific part (i.e. that IC), post a link to the data sheet. It would make the life of anyone trying to help you easier. Again, I am not sure how or where you got that schematic, but...

EDIT: For anyone thinking about PMing me their e-mails, DON'T. I do not have lockerz invites, this thread merely reminded me of that picture.

Re: I need help with my SnesP
First, you are going to need to drop the voltage to about a third of what those batteries are outputting if you are planning on using them. Second, if there is no composite input anywhere on the board there is no way you are going to get video to it. Third, not trying to be mean or anything, but you...
