WTT/B Dreamcast VGA
Just bought my first dreamcast a couple of days ago along with a new TV/Monitor and would like to hook it up as I'm in love with Segas last console effort. Would like to buy for a reasonable price but trading could be possible as I've got a few goodie lying around such as a Pal PS1 Screen & Fat PS2 ...

Re: PSTwo HD Connect (or similar) - are they still around?
I got mine from PSXBOY.com so can vouch for their level of finish, other then the box being a tad frayed at the corners it all seems fine.
Just need to actually get a slim PS2 now that has the IDE connectors on it and my own PS2 laptop can progress.

Re: PSTwo HD Connect (or similar) - are they still around?
I've actually got a HD Combo rather then the connect version - why have the hard drive outside of the case? It just seems alien to me AND it needs an additional plug socket powering it. Two things my fat PS2 does not need. I dont see any reason why a laptop hard drive shouldnt work; for comparison t...

Re: Ripped laser ribbon on PS2
I think thats the procedure. However I ripped my Power/Eject cable on a fat PS2 and ordered a replacement part; it was significantly longer then the original and much stronger due to being 'laminated' in white. Thus if a repair job fails, replacement parts may be better then the originals; speaking ...

Re: Ripped laser ribbon on PS2
Dont quote me on it but I've read they can possibly be repaired by taping them back together, but I think thats just in the case of them fraying, not a total rip that results in the cable in two parts.

Re: PS2 Slim laptop
I'm actually in the process of making a PS2 slim laptop myself, although I'm relying mostly on pre-existing products and modifing them more for power consumption and cosmetic reasons then anything else. The current progress is as follows; Joytech PS2 slimline screen purchased (£1) Needs LED Mod and ...

my (fictional) lorry will always be superior to your eighteen wheeler - plus I can say it three times in the space it takes you to say it once thus by (twisted) default my method of speaking takes less time and effort. actually I did once make a 'torch' (as in flaming artificial illumination device)...

Re: i broke my ps1 screen........
I dont know it could be useful for a steam powered portable or something;
damn the language barrier; its a 'torch', rolls off the tongue much better then 'flashlight' and the british pronunciation of aluminium
is superior to your american mockery! Muhahaha
(obviously I say this all in jest)

Re: completed XBox paint mod: UW-Green Bay
Yes, they were awesome minutes, I new I didn't want to use AA's, the reason I built it was because I wanted to test out all of my stuff so far, then I tested how long it would last, everything works, but I only had a portable for those 2 minutes. lol Hook it all up to one of the charging circuits f...

best to also have it so sunlight isn't on the surface as all you get is a reflection but vary the angle with the torch and have a look.
My laptops backlight went when I was installing XP but I completed the install with much squinting and the torch on my mobile phone.
