Google, why can't you just leave things as they are? This doesn't make me want to use Google+, if that's your intent.
The new YouTube design is pretty terrible, too. I miss the old homepage subscriptions grid.

Re: Malware on BH?
I think maybe it was either something an ad tried to slip in, or (more likely) images from a spambot post that Google's crawler picked up on before it got cleaned up.

Very nice!
Hardware clones have their place, just not when there's a Zapper involved.

Looks like Ben made some changes to the permissions; is anyone having trouble accessing the new forums? (Also, no posts were deleted. Some were just consolidated into the 80s, 90s, and 2000s gaming forums.) Please try completely refreshing the page (Shift + F5 in most browsers) if you click on a boa...

Re: Port Minecraft To Dreamcast?
As far as I know, Minecraft primarily relies on Java and OpenGL. As long as both those requirements are there it could work in theory. It probably isn't feasible to run it in real life, though. The Dreamcast only has a 100 mhz processor and 16 megs of RAM. Minecraft doesn't need much processing powe...

Re: Custom laptop cooler

Re: Beginners Help
Steady Hand and Operation are pretty simple to implement. Build a circuit and use the wand or tweezers as the switch. If you touch the two halves together, you trip the circuit. You can use a relay or MOSFET if you want your game to turn on something big without exposing players to high amounts of c...

Re: XBox 360 Laser Burn Fix
Try using car polishing compound to get rid of the scratch. If you can't fix it with chemicals, the only other thing you can do is polish the disc down level with the deepest part of the scratch, like those hand-crank disc fixer tools do.

Make sure your ports are forwarded properly and you have a strong password on the router. You might also want to sign up with a Dynamic DNS service, because your external IP changes regularly unless you pay for a business class Internet connection with a static IP.

Man I like those old-ish radios. Nice find! Are you going to restore it to its original functionality or make it into a WiFi/Bluetooth streaming target device?
