Re: raspberry pi questions
Python, perl, bash (shell programming) or maybe use c# via mono. These are good languages easy to learn and you can build them faster than c or c++. Interpreted languages will work before for prototyping. And to explain about c or c++, I ask Spongebuell a bit back for some advise on a language to le...

Re: Wii Laptop?
Honestly you'll be doing a lot to make a modern gen console portable or change its form-factor. Best advice is to start simple you'll need good de/soldering skills and know how to wire up compoinets youve moved or removed. Begin with an Atari, NES, SNES or genesis. All have grwat gamibg libraries ar...

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
As usual I'm looking forward to it but dont know if I'll make it. The question is will the suite be host by Triton again, will Sponge return or will we have a new leader step up this year? I'm not going to be sleeping there but its really the coolest place to hang out away from the convention. -Spar...

Been some time... I've posted a few times. Not much going on so I haven't stopped in much. And haven't had much going on with me but work and that thing I call a life, really it's a blood sucking parasite.

VBA programming question
Ok guys got a question and I hope someone has experience with VBA in Excel. I'm working on a Time Sheet for work. Got the basics done, but need to make a macro that can simplify things. Namely have the range specified and the active cell shift back to start and down one row at the end. Here's the la...

Re: C# !!! need help.
If you can spend the money I would suggest you buy Visual C# step by step. I'm reading the visual basic one and it has you build programs to learn very early. You can get the book here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0735626707" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Good luck in your coding e...

Re: Who you gunna vote for president!
I'll be voting. To be honest I didn't vote in the primaries for who will be the Republican candidate, mostly because I can't figure out who is better then whom. Just glad I don't have TV, cause I am going to hate seeing all those stupid commercials that do nothing but mud sling. I'm all for election...

Re: MGC 2012 thread!
With all the fun you guys had, did anyone bother to note what wreck of a car Triton brought with him? First it was the overworked, falling apart, on it's last leg Volvo Station-wagon. Then he drove the sardine express, a tiny car with only 3-cylindar engine. Please we need to know what to add to the...
Re: VMU phone
You have some of the coolest cases for cell phones. This time it's unbelievable that you have a phone small enough to fit that.

Re: Everything in moderation . . . even gaming ?
I had to give up my additction to World of Warcraft. I did so mostly because I needed to spend that time looking for a job, and at $15 a month it was burning a whole in my pocket more then anything. I used that time to get a job, plan my wedding, and learning how to knit/crochet. It's morphed into m...

Re: Anime thread (split from TV quality debate thread)
I'm a Gundam fanboy. I own the movie trilogy for Mobile Suit: Gundam 08th MS Team Char's Counterattack Victory Gundam Gundam X I would suggest avoiding Gundam Wing and G Gundam... unless you really like pretty boys and philosophical ideas of war. As for the newer ones liike Gundam SEED, it was a goo...

Re: installing xp on my windows 7 laptop
Best thing to do is let us know what the make is. I can tell you that most Dell laptops and computers come with XP drivers. And to be blunt, if you have a Toshiba, forget it.

I'll very likely be bringing my significant other, now known as my wife. Hopefully no food poisoning like last time.
