GameGear interference
I've been experiencing some interference issues with a Game Gear case mod (in a Genesis model 2 case). Normally, the GameGear is shielded by some sort of conductive layer of paint on the inside of the case. However, I can't fit the Genesis shielding inside with the GameGear boards without shorting s...

Re: Any interest in Game Gear LCD mods?
What screen size is that one? Do you know a good source for a 3.5" screen? It's a 3.5" transmissive TFT QVGA (320x240). If you want the exact footprint of the screen and active dot area, look up the datasheet online; it will give you the exact metric measurements. Make sure you get both the LCD and...

Any interest in Game Gear LCD mods?
I'm posting here to see if there is any interest in Game Gears modified for a new LCD screen (basically installing a converter board and a new LCD and LCD controller board) since I'm putting some together for myself. I'll also be posting around some of the English/French (if I can find any French on...

Wanted: knackered/sports/useless Sega Genesis cartridge/case
I'm in need of a couple useless Sega Genesis cartridges, just for the outer casing; they can't be EA carts. As long as there isn't a hole burned through the plastic or it's really badly chipped, I'm fine with just about anything.
Danke.

Not too bad; I'll see what my paycheck gets me once it comes in. :Schainfire95 wrote:It would be roughly 8 dollars more expensive to ship it there if that's okay.

Re: Size of Nomad and Nomad battery holders?
Why not just do my battery mod ? I forgot; I'll think about it. What type (when I say type, I mean make and model) of battery is used? I might actually just settle for an external battery pack like this, since it's more versatile (I'd like to use it for my RPi and GameGear as well). http://dx.com/p...

Size of Nomad and Nomad battery holders?
I have my Nomad coming in from the USA in a few weeks, but I want to start getting some other parts together. I have one problem -- I don't have the Nomad in front of me to measure it. I've searched the internet for patents or any information on it's dimensions, but no such luck. Does anyone happen ...

You're right; I might be better off getting a Sony camera battery and charger.

Buying batteries from China: how safe is it?
I'm trying to find some 18500 batteries (four of them, to be exact) for a Nomad mod. The only problem is, I want to save some money to be able to afford other parts for the project. I have found a few of sources: eBay, DealExtreme or Taobao, all ultimately coming from China or Hong Kong. I've ordere...

[Bought] WTB: Sega Nomad (Canada)
Looking to buy a Sega Nomad to do a few mods on (including LCD/battery replacement; I've already tracked down the parts and am getting them from China for under $30). I live in Vancouver/Victoria, BC, Canada. Thank you. Also willing to trade GameBoy/GameGear/Atari Lynx paraphernalia for one. Sold (...
