Re: Super All In One Console Project.
I can't really see that being an issue unless you have a cartridge with a co-processor inside. If it doesn't have the coprocessor, the only thing it's really doing is feeding data, so loading times would be milliseconds longer. With the coprocessor in the cartridge, it *may* have issues. Maybe the s...

Re: Super All In One Console Project.
Either idea could work, but you'd have to be extremely precise with modding in a laser- If it's slightly tilted it won't read properly. What you could do is add pull out trays in the front for each console- the "tray" would hold either a cart slot or a disk drive and you could mount reset, power and...

Re: Super All In One Console Project.
Your idea before regarding PS3 XBOX 360 etc in one case- Don't even try. That thing would be console death waiting to happen. Each of those systems has a large enough board that it makes sense to put ONE in a computer case. Fitting multiple would not only be hard, but when running one system, you'd ...

Re: Re: Super All In One Console Project.
[This goes for me, too. How difficult would it be to convert some of the top-loading disc systems to work with slot-loading trays? Nearly impossible, if not fully impossible. The only ways possible to do it is find the pinout of the disk drive of the system and create your own controller to change ...

Re: Super All In One Console Project.
As above, it would be simple to ad in a Sega CD into a drive bay- get the bottom attached Sega CD and position it so that the tray lines up with a faceplate from a generic CD drive. Make sure to add a Sega CD logo too! PS2- same deal, but make sure it's a fat unit so that you can use an HDD for back...

In fact, if you turn in off if DVI (per sé) then it will turn on in DVI mode.
I got one to run a 17" 1440x900 panel. Works like a charm, and no engrish in the on screen menu.

I've never had luck soldering video lines. If you're not sure, stick with the wires if you've got the space.
Also, I've gotten a controller from that company. It's a great, well built board but expect the full 30 days for shipping. Plus your tracking number might not work, but no fret, it'll come.

Re: Super All In One Console Project.
Most of the time, they say 9V because that's what they wanted- the components themselves are capable of handling voltages higher and lower if necessary. For example- I just got a 3.5" screen and an audio amp off of a member here- both are capable of running off anything from 5V-12V. The components u...

Oh. Didn't see that.
Just use the composite input then. Simple as that.

Your Gamecube will last ~15 min.
Just go online and buy from a BATTERY STORE. I'm trying to help you by telling you there is no easier way that efficiently works.
Batteryspace.com is a good one.

An N64 is within reach, and there are loads of games that are tons of fun to play on it. I haven't done one but I really should.
